All about me…

“I can do that…I saw a show once!”

Those 9 words strike fear in my husband.

They also give me the confidence to try anything. Well, almost.

I will attempt nearly anything. I have definate visions of grandure when it comes to my abilities. If I see something done, I am convinced that I can do it just as good (or better) than anyone. As a result, I do know how to do a lot of stuff. My sucesses are great…and my failures are EPIC! But, that’s how we learn, right?

I am a mother of 2.
I am a photographer by profession.
I taught preschool for a very brief time (I have a whole new appreciation for teachers after that!!)
I volunteer at my children’s school, teaching art.
I am a “Taxi Mom”.
I can use most power tools with average efficiency.
I can understand basic construction and can do most finish work.
I am excellent at painting.
I love trying new recipes and trying to make up my own.
I am a wiz with couponing and saving money.
I say that I’m not crafty, but deep down I think that I am and just don’t want to admit it.
I am great at organizing…other people. I fall short in keeping up with it for myself, though.

Yeah, I try a lot of stuff.

This blog is all about all the things I try, and how it turns out.  Hopefully, I’ll have a few things that are helpful, and some advice on what NOT to do.  I’d love to hear from you, too!
